The Norfolk Hotel

The Norfolk is a very good option for luxury, unfailing high standards, hospitality and comfort, and is centrally situated in Kenya's capital city Nairobi. Born in 1904, the Norfolk continues to be the place to stay and meet people when in town.

Accomodation is made up of 85 twin and 20 double-bedded luxurious bedrooms as well as 18 suites and 6 garden facing cottages offering a total of 266 beds all with private bathrooms with shower, minibar television & Radio and direct dialling telephones.

They have other fabulous facilities like Heated Swimming pool. Health Club equipped with gym saunas, steam rooms, Aerobics & massage facilities. Conference facilities with a capacity for up to 255 people.

When The Norfolk Hotel first opened in Nairobi on Christmas Day 1904. No other hotel in Kenya can boast as much of Nairobi's splendid past and exciting present like does Norfolk. It has played host to many luminaries such as 26th American President Theodore Roosevelt, Lord Baden-Powell, the Earl of Warwick, Lord and Lady Cranworth, and the Baron and Baroness von Blixen have all been part of the Hotel’s history.

Over the years the Reception, public areas, function rooms and restaurants have been renovated, and the new Acacia Wing with 44 deluxe guest rooms and suites was built. Today, the Hotel boasts 167 luxurious guest rooms, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a fully equipped health club, a ballroom, four function rooms, elegant public areas and the choice of four dining venues.
