Kenya Balloon Safaris and Tours- Travel to Kenya

Balloon safaris; Aerial view of the wildlife and landscape. Masai Mara Game reserve is popular for these safaris. Basically you ride in a balloon and view the wild game from the air.

Sample Safari

Day 1:
Leave Nairobi  and drive towards the Great Rift Valley arriving in Mara in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive through the rolling grasslands of Mara. Hunt for the “Big Five”.
Dinner and overnight at a Lodge.

Day 2:
Spend the entire day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drive. Instead of an early morning game drive, take a balloon safari. Here you get to view the game from the air. Flight takes approximately 1 hour and provides a wonderful game viewing and photographic opportunity. Celebrate your landing with a champagne breakfast then drive back to your lodge/camp

Day 3:
Early morning game drive. After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at a Lake Hotel. Sample the wonderful scenery covered with flamingoes and other birds.
You could also get the opportunity to meet the endangered Black Rhino and the Rothschild Giraffe.
Dinner and overnight at a Lake Hotel.

Day 4:
Take an early morning game drive. After breakfast proceed to Mt. Kenya Safari Club arriving in time for lunch.
Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the superb facilities of the Club.
Dinner and overnight at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.

Day 5:
After breakfast drive to Samburu and explore the Northern Kenya. View Mt. Kenya en-route.
Lunch at a Samburu Lodge/Camp.
You could possibly get to see the unusual species like grevy's Zebra, the reticulated Giraffe, the generuk and the nocturnal Leopard. Overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 6:
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives

Day 7:
Early morning game drive. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi arriving by noon
