Why Mugunda House?

Mugunda House is set on a plateau in the middle of 2000 acre tea and coffee farm providing uninterrupted view of the Great Rift Valley.  It lies in the midst of tea and coffee bushes commanding an unforgetable sunset view every evening as the sun sets over the western wall of the valley.

The immediate surrounding land has been left undisturbed over the years to give a true tropical forest and more so along the streams, creating one of the countries best bird watching and butterfly paradise.  Over 150 species of birds have been identified in the area.
