Lake
Nakuru – Flamingo Safari – 1 Day.
Drive from Nairobi over the eastern wall of the Great
Rift Valley, pass the Scenic Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita, to Nakuru
National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.
A rare chance to encounter the endangered Black Rhino and the rare Rothschild
Giraffe.
The lake is a sanctuary to over 450 species of birds – a home for the
pink flamingoes. Spot as many different birds as you can.
Afternoon tea in the country club atmosphere of Lake Naivasha Hotel then
drive back to Nairobi in the evening.
